After college together and co-founding several non-profits, Bilal pursued an MD PhD at Northwestern, and I went into healthcare consulting. Our paths offered us different perspectives to the same problem: patients and consumers don’t have easy ways to know what to do for their health and care. This led us to ask: how can consumer-facing technologies solve problems like healthcare access to avoid unnecessary care and promote what's actually needed? That is how Clearstep was founded.”
